What happens when you get the golden ticket to Hollywood on American Idol?

How long before you actually go to Hollywood and have the group weeks and what not?|||they go to hollywood right after the final audition city. it's the final pear down to the top 24 (or 36) that's months later.|||I'm thinking auditions are usually in the summer Aug, Sept and the show starts in January. So several months.
