What's the most convenient way to go from North Hollywood to Pasadena using public transit?

I live right across the metro station in North Hollywood and I want to know which public transportation (regular bus or commuter express, I'm not sure yet...) will take me to Pasadena in the shortest time possible? I'm planning to attend Pasadena City College, and I could use some help with this, as I'm not familiar with bus routes..!! thanks.|||Red line from NoHo to Hollywood/Western, and then Metro Rapid 780 to PCC.|||Hey, i'm actually thinking of moving to an apt right across from the NoHo station and I'm going to PCC, too. How long has it been taking you to travel from NoHo to Pasadena??
