I'm not very good at this but i just know movies made in the US are hollywood movies but what about British or Australian films? District 9 was a SA based movie would that be considered a hollywood one? Plz help..thanx!!|||I think it matters more on what countries producers and directors are doing the film rather than the location it is being shot.
Most Hollywood and Australian films are in the action adventure genre while British films are mostly drama and some corny comedy and often have a message. The District 9 film was, I believe, British financed and made, it had a strong message in it. z|||British movies tend to have a plot, dialogue, and an interesting story.
Hollywood movies tend to have explosions, car chases, and catch phrases.|||Hollywood - made in USA
English - preferably UK
Both function quite the same..!!
