But you probably want to get an agent to do negotiations and such. They are hard to come by, but if the screenplay is really good, the fact that the author is 14 will no doubt work in your favor when it comes to marketing.|||i'm a 14 year old writer just like your kid, there's no limit, we have the same dream.

|||Regardless of the issue of whether or not an author of a screenplay is 14 years of age, attempting to sell an unsolicited script to any studio, actor, director, etc. without using an agent will end up with the script being returned to sender. It's an issue of intellectual property rights and protection of the receiving/viewing party from being sued for infringing on an author's creative talents.

|||Unless he is a prodigy, it is unlikely. If you think the scripts are really good, then you need to try to contact directors and producers to try to promote them.|||It is possible and legal. Make sure his scripts are registered at the WGA before sending anything to anyone anywhere.|||Just like actors can act underage.

although its even harder to make it then just becuz he is getting judged becuz he is young
