What is the best way to get from Hollywood to Disneyland during the week?

We're staying in Hollywood and would really like to go to Disneyland. However, we are not renting a car. And I am a little leary on public transportation unless it is relativly quick.|||Song, you DON'T know what you are talking about.

Do NOT go to the Greyhound station. That is in the worst part of town, and NOT a place I send people.

From Hollywood, you can take a Red Line Subway to Union Station. From there, catch the Amtrak or Metrolink south to Anaheim. You can catch a shuttle from the Anaheim station to Disneyland.

Be aware that the last train back to LA is around 9PM, if I remember correctly. Check with amtrak.com or metrolinktrains.com.

There are bus lines, but it's over 30 miles to Anaheim, and a bust trip would take hours.|||well you can take the Red Line to 7th/Metro station

then up stairs to 7th/Flower and board Line 460 direct to

Disneyland

the subway takes about 10 minutes

cost is $1.25 for the subway and about $2.50 for the line 460

the 460 will take direct to Disneyland's

but its not fast it will take about a hour)

another routing is to take the Red Line to Union station

and the Metrolink or Amtrak to Fullerton then another bus

to Disneyland|||First check with the major hotels they may be able to direct you to a bus for tourists that will go there directly. Otherwise, go to the Greyhound bus station. Disneyland is in Anaheim , Ca. I am sure there will be a bus that will drop you directly or at least in walking distance.
