I want to decorate my master bathroom like an old hollywood dressing room. The room is small (like an alley) so I couldn't fit in a chaise louge or anything. I have double sinks, crappy flooring I'm willing to rip up but I don't know where to start with decor, light fixtures other than the Hollywood lights that go around the mirrors that have the large globe bulbs which I do not like. What about paint color, shower curtain, faucets, towels?|||Did you want the hollywood glamorous look? Use a crystal chandelier, pale blue green and gray color scheme. You can use long sconces on either side of your mirror. Look on HGTV at save my bath they did a hollywood bath episode. Episode was called icky industrial bath.|||We just redid my daughters in a soft pool blue-her soup dish,towell holders etc are in mirror with beveled edges and etched floral. I found her pool blue towells and black. Silver hardware. Her small curtain is a patterned shinny silver in a pouf-I made it for nearly nothing and its great. She's got a ceramic poodle on the back of the toilet (old town buy-4.00) and black framed photos of Marilyn Monroe, Audry Hepburn and like on the one wall facing the mirror-which we did wallpaper too in a b/w pattern. Her light is black metal and curves out from wall like an old street light above her mirror-white glass shades-Lowes for 25.00. It was a different metal but I just painted it with metal,ceramic acrylic from the craft store-think outside the box. Look at old gaudy standing (table) lamps from the trift store-with a new shade and a beaded edge on shade (hot glue) you can do wonders!|||Here you go (for some ideas):

How do I get to Hollywood blvd from lax using metro or something alike?
I need to get to Hollywood blvd from lax tomorrow night, I wanna take metro or any other public transportation that costs a couple bucks, what should I do to get to Hollywood blvd?
thanks|||Take the "G" Shuttle bus to Aviation Metro station from there take the Green Line to the Imperial/Wilmington metro station, go downstairs the blue line and board a Los Angeles bound train and follow that train to 7th Street Metro go downstairs for the Red Line and take the train to Hollywood, there are a lot of stations on Hollywood Blvd so I am not sure which stop u want but that will get u there|||instead going the long way around
you could take the c bus to the city bus center
then take metro 42 to la brea and overhill then line 212 into hollywood|||Shame on TM for not mentioning the Flyaway bus. Just look for the green signs on the arrival level that say "Flyaway", and look for a big bus that says "Flyaway" on it. It's $7, and takes you directly to Union Station in half the time of the 42 bus. It's even faster than the Green Line/Blue Line/Red Line route. From Union Station, take the RED line subway to Hollywood %26amp; Highland. Don't take the Purple Line to Wilshire/Western. Every day, I'd see people there with a confused look, wondering where the Chinese Theater is. So take the Red Line toward North Hollywood.

The Hollywood scene wants decent actors/actresses with salvagable looks. If you have that, and a stroke of luck, then you're set.

Why does Hollywood flaunt its wealth in our faces, then preach to us that the root of all evil is money?
Hollywood's decadence is constantly being shoved in our faces. We cannot escape from their jet-setting lifestyles. They flaunt their opulence on self-congratulatory red carpet extravaganzas, while we sit at home wondering why we can't have a life as great as theirs. Then we flock to their films and sit in front of their TV shows and are taught how we should learn to be less greedy and be content with nothing more than a few smiles and a soft couch to sit on.
Anyone notice this destructive dichotomy?|||The road to hell is paved with good intentions. They use their money and influence to pave that road. So, in some twisted form of Hollywood logic, their money is the root of all evil.
My money, on the other hand, goes to feed, house and clothe a family. It makes life better and more comfortable, My charitable donations go for good works.

In Hollywood, we don't see the mess|||I find it interesting how the Hollywood elates like to come across as liberals but they like to hang on to their money. A couple of years ago a male actor made the statement "I understand what war is all about because I played a soldier once". People complain about how much a CEO or a very good Dr. makes but no one seems to care how much the actors make. Are we becoming a society that cares more about how we are entertained than how we are governed.|||They don't teach that money is evil and that greed is bad, they preach about sharing the tax burden, supporting public programs, etc.|||You can't trust anyone that changes their religion based on current fads.|||Hollywood is entertainment. It has no obligation - nor should it - to lead anybody.
