How come no one talks about famous Hollywood cartoon characters anymore?

You know, like classic Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, or Looney Tunes or Woody Woodpecker or Droopy or Tom and Jerry, etc. Is it because the companies who own the rights to these characters release most of the vintage Hollywood cartoons to DVD these days?|||Hello ,

The lack of exposure to these Classics , being stereotyped as "Old School" and not worthy of perusal , the companies who own the rights to these classics may have problems with distribution or may have some licensing issues with the release in either a DVD format or on-air restrictions of some sort .

=^,,^=|||people like the new animation now. since it has better qulity and everything.plus people get bored of stuff if they keep on talking about it

What is the difference between planet hollywood and planet hollywood tower in las vegas?

Planing a trip to vegas and planet hollywood caught my eye then I saw planet hollywood tower, whats the difference between the two.|||Good question!

Planet Hollywood is the main casino hotel right on the Strip, which used to be the Aladdin. Now it's owned by Harrah's, the casino hotel chain.

The Planet Hollywood Towers Westgate is a timeshare condo resort with studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom apartments. It's slightly farther east, off the Strip at the back of the property. Staying there can be a bit more unpredictable, because some rental units are individually owneed, so you never know exactly what you're going to get. That said, I've heard good things about it, b/c it's newer.

Hope that helps!|||Sara hit the nail on the head. I'll just add a few details for you as I just booked a room in the Towers for a week in August and have done ALOT of research.

The PH Towers (it's really only 1 tower- second one hasn't been built) is connected to the Miracle Mile shops, so it does sit back a little bit further off the strip but only a short walk through the mall to the casino and out onto the strip.

See diagram here : http://www.miraclemileshopslv.com/direct鈥?/a>

It's a smoke free property, which Planet Hollywood is not..so if you are a smoker, that could be a deciding factor for you.

Also, don't let the pictures on the website fool you. They are artist renderings of what the resort was to look like, some things weren't completed exactly as planned (example...the pool does not look exactly like some of the pictures you'll see. There are no waterfalls or sand as they claim. But it still looks like a decent pool. Check out real pictures on Tripadvisor.

The Towers are "all suites" so I've heard of people who book with PH Resort being offered an upgrade to a studio in the PH Towers. While the 1 bdrm and 2 bdrm suites are beyond comparison, I don't think the studio is really much better than a regular Hollywood Hip room in the regular PH. Although the Studio does have a kitchenette so you've got a fridge and microwave in your room.

I booked the Towers on vegasview.com (division of tripres.com) for cheap cheap cheap. And the deal is still ongoing.

Check it out here: http://www.vegasview.com/hotels/info.asp鈥?/a>

I've read bad reviews and I've read good ones. Same goes for any resort I guess. I think the Planet Hollywood is a little bit more "in the centre of the action" while the Towers is quieter (not directly above the casino) so you can escape the hustle and bustle. But it's still right there, steps away from all the action.|||Planet Hollywood is the strip casino hotel where guess like you and me stay it just like a regular hotel on the strip.. You will be fine here.

Hollywood Towers are more like a condo on the strip that people buy, both are connected together via planet hollywood mall and its really nice!

Would you want to work in Hollywood and live the Hollywood life?

And if you were a Hollywood actor/actress, would you leave Hollywood and move someplace else and do something else?|||The greatest majority of Hollywood talent does not live in Hollywood... When I lived in Santa Fe, most of my neighbors made movies in LA and around the world and lived in Santa Fe.

I actually LIVED IN Hollywood for about 6 months some years ago.. but that part of LA is just too STRANGE for my tastes.. even the TOURISTS are WEIRD.|||Hollywood, AKA L.A. is where the work is at. Sure I would love to live in, say, Santa Barbara or Taos, New Mexico or Mendocino, but the work in in L.A. Unless you are a STAR you have to live where you can make a living. You have to be able to get to auditions and 1-3 day gigs easily.|||It would depend on two factors: whether I was good enough to keep getting work and make enough money to live on, and whether I enjoyed what I was doing or hated it. And, to be honest, after living in Los Angeles, I'd live closer to the coast than Hollywood. Santa Monica, Venice, Malibu, someplace like that.

Is Hollywood high school good in terms of its education and performing arts magnet?

I don't have much of a choice but to go to Hollywood because I got accepted to the magnet but, is the magnet good? How about the education? Will I be able to go to a good college? My worry is whether or not I will get the education I need to succeed. I've heard its "ghetto".

Thanks!|||It's good. You might be the new Robert Pattinson.

How can I offer my house to hollywood to use for stunts in movies?

I just lost my house recently because of a fire. It is still standing and some of the rooms are okay. But it is totally unlivable. It is very hard and expensive to get the fire department to burn the rest of it down or to have somebody bulldoze it. So, I thought I'd see if hollywood wants to use it and blow it up or something. It is out in the country so it wouldn't cause any harm. I just don't know how to go about doing that. Any suggestions would be appreciated!|||http://www.watch-movies-links.net/

What part of Hollywood Los Angeles is Good to visit for fun n good Attractions?

whats the best part in Hollywood Los angeles to vist and fun stuff..And how to get from Downtown Los angeles to Hollywood. Any direct bus or train?|||The "touristy" area of Hollywood is on Hollywood Blvd., I would say around Highland and Vine streets.

From downtown LA, take the red line subway and get off on either Hollywood/Highland or Hollywood/Vine.|||Universal Studios is in Hollywood, Universal City Walk which is part of Universal Studios has many restaurants, shops, bars, and a movie theater.|||San Diego take the amtrak train there you will have a blast. Its better than visiting hollywood, but if you decide on Hollywood go to citywalk or universal studios. You wont be disappointed with San Diego for sure..|||yes from downtown LA you can take

the Red line (subway)direct to Hollywood|||If you like going to clubs, than West Hollywood.

What is the safest place to live in the Hollywood area?

What is the safest place to live in the Hollywood area? North, West, East or South Hollywood? Please give a detailed explanation. Thank you.|||I've been mugged pretty much all over town. North Hollywood isn't really hollywood, it's in the valley- so I suppose that's safest, but very far away. West Hollywood is the largest Gay community outside of San Francisco so if that's your thing (I'm not trying to call you out), it's a safe community for that side of life. Then there's Hollywood proper (there isn't really a South or East Hollywood), which is much cleaner than it used to be but it does still have some rough edges. Keep west of Cahuenga Blvd and North of Santa Monica Blvd and you should be just fine. It's still a city, however, and therefore important to keep your eyes and ears aware of the people around you. That's the best way to stay safe.|||depends on your karma and the size of your body lol

if you want the most feeling of security while indoors then you should go for one of the luxury apartment buildings on Franklin or the one at 1745 Wilcox where i used to live.

its great to live in Hollywood and you can do so safely.

i also have other info. email me.

GARKO|||not in Hollywood, sorry...|||Some of these replies I don't get... Hollywood is wonderful. I've never felt scared in Hollywood.. it's all in where you go, and like any BIG city, they all come with crime. The nicest part of Hollywood is West.. and it isn't all gay either. Sure area's are, but they're are plenty of straight people there as well. What I would suggest is finding a good realtor, or someone who knows the area's your looking at very well, who could tell you where you'd be best. That's what I did.. Keep in mind that most of West Hollywood is Very expensive. Best of luck!|||Not in Hollywood
